JASON ISAAC – About me

“Let’s start this short intro at the point in time where I decided to become a fitness professional instead of a pro athlete.

The ambition was to be a professional rugby player for Saracens or on the Great Britain squad for Judo however this came to an abrupt end due to an injury which left me with a 14-month recovery ahead of me. At this point I realized the professional sporting career I had wanted was now in the rearview mirror. I now had ample time to think about what path the future had for me. Over my recovery period I worked alongside some exceptional Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and Rehab Therapists who taught me a lot about the physical and mental mindset that one has to have in order to overcome the hurdles that life throws at you. So, I decided to enrol myself in Premier Training International in the UK. It was at this point I realized this was the career path I wanted to take.

Becoming a Sports Therapist and Fitness Instructor became the next logical step. In 2017 I decided to set up Body Alignment as it was a great way for me to provide a well-being service to individuals and corporations. I have the knowledge and belief to improve the wellbeing of others.”

Jason was highly recommended to me as I was suffering from Frozen Shoulder. I had been having treatments with other Physios but, unfortunately, these had not successfully treated the issue. I then contacted Jason and started doing Sports Massage Therapy and mobility work with him which vastly improved my range of motion over the course of only 9 or 10 treatments. I started to feel a reduction of pain and a lot more mobility. At this point we discussed developing the strength back in my shoulder and progressed to rehab training. I have been seeing Jason for muscle alignment treatment as Polo is a very one sided sport. I have to get my muscles back in line to get back on the pitch. I see him for any imbalances. Book in for your Sports Therapy Massage with Jason, I highly recommend him

RHYS HAMER – About me

After suffering several bad injuries that ended my Football career, I decided to follow a career in Personal Training.

With over 2 decades experience, I have worked with large companies within the fitness industry as well as small boutique Fitness Brands. I also set up and successfully ran my own Personal Training company in the UK.

I qualified as a Biomechanics Coach in 2009 and spent the last 10 years specializing in Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation & Sports Performance Enhancement.

My clients included office workers, Golfers, Triathletes, Padel players and Serious Climbers looking for their next mountain to Summit.

I hate working out – despite that I’ve never been more consistent with my workouts then I have in the past 5 years where I have been training with Rhys Hamer. He started off gently working through my different issues. From my knees to my arms to my shoulder… slowly he got my core strength up and was sorting out my issues as we went along. To say he’s an excellent trainer is not doing him justice. His knowledge of the body is incredible – he knows when to push me and when to make me stop. His work with biomechanics is better and has more impact then any physiotherapist I have worked with. He’s done wonders for me. Five years later we are training 3 times a week and each session he pushes me in a different way. I have zero motivation to train on my own and honestly without Rhys I don’t know in what horrible shape and position I would be in. I cannot recommend Rhys more… (I literally have to everyone I know who has any issues) He’s sorted me out and continues to push me every session to be that much better then the last.
